For most travellers, Agra means one thing: the Taj Mahal. A large share of visitors fly into Delhi and head to Agra the same day or the next morning. We take that pressure off the start of the trip by meeting you inside the terminal and driving you there directly, so the journey to one of the world’s great monuments begins the moment you land.
Section 01Distance, time and route
Agra is around 230 kilometres from the airport and takes about three and a half to four hours, traffic depending. The drive uses the Yamuna Expressway, a six lane, controlled access highway built for fast, signal free travel, which is what keeps the trip short.
From IGI the route runs through Noida and Greater Noida to Pari Chowk, joins the Yamuna Expressway, and exits near Agra. Because the expressway has few fuel stations and rest stops along its length, the chauffeur fuels up before the run and knows where to pause if you need a break. Tolls are paid by FASTag, and how they sit in your fare is confirmed when you book.

One thing worth knowing: the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so we work around that when we set your pickup. If you have time, Fatehpur Sikri on the way back, or a stop at Mathura and Vrindavan along the route, are easy to add.
